Skills & Services
About
Former Microsoft MVP Michael Ridland founded Team 400, an AI consultancy based in Brisbane. It has staff in Sydney and Melbourne and a base at the Peregian Digital Hub on the Sunshine Coast, and runs workshops on site or remotely across Australia. Its work sits mainly on the Microsoft stack, including Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI, alongside models from Anthropic and OpenAI.
The firm groups its services into four lines: consulting, design and build, AI adoption, and forward deployment. Under the last of these it places its own engineers inside a client team, or supplies a part-time lead for agent work. Projects begin with a discovery call and a map of current processes. A roadmap of ranked use cases follows, then team training, the build itself and a cycle of review and scaling. Short fixed packages produce a working prototype, while larger custom builds run through to production.
Alongside AI agents, retrieval systems and automation, Team 400 builds web and mobile software in .NET and React. Published projects cover transport compliance, field service scheduling and AI tools for advertising creatives. The firm also runs the AI Builders meetup and helps organise AgentCon.
