Can a client have multiple n8n instances?
Yes. Many clients have separate n8n instances for development, staging, and production, or for different departments. Administrate lets you assign multiple instances to one client and see aggregated metrics across all of them.
What client information is stored?
Each client profile includes name, a unique code (for internal reference), contact email, timezone, notes, and an optional monthly LLM budget. All client data is scoped to your account and not shared.
How do budgets work?
You set a monthly budget in dollars for each client. Administrate tracks LLM costs attributed to that client and shows budget usage as a percentage. You receive alerts when clients approach 80% and exceed 100% of their budget.
What does 'client at risk' mean?
A client is flagged as 'at risk' when their failure rate exceeds 20% over the selected date range. This helps you identify clients who might be having problems with their automations before they contact you.
Can I see historical data per client?
Yes. Use the date range picker to view client metrics for any time period. See execution trends, failure counts, and LLM costs over weeks, months, or custom ranges.
How do I assign LLM costs to clients?
When you connect an LLM provider, you map each project or API key to a client. Costs from those projects are automatically attributed to the assigned client.
